Michael & Sally from Worcestershire
The house plaque proudly names their new home “Enchanted Cottage“, Michael and Sally love their new Deene Cottage and couldn’t wait until they could move in. As it happens they moved in just in time for Christmas, which was perfect, and allowed them to have their family for Christmas Dinner.
As soon as Sally saw the Deene Cottage in Tingdene’s brochure she knew that was the home for them.
The name describes the home quite well, and is packed full of cottage features with ceiling beams, wooden internal doors, and an array of features that create the cottage style. Michael and Sally have then taken the framework and furnished the home exquisitely putting the finishing touches to their “Enchanted Cottage “
Michael and Sally have been married for 37 years and when Michael developed health issues that then prevented him from working they decided it was time to consider downsizing. They started the process of selling their house and looking around for something new.
Property in general was more expensive they wanted to spend and having had a static caravan in the past they turned their attentions to the park home option. At the time Sally was setting up a hairdresser business on Leedons Park in Broadway, Worcestershire. The new phase on Leedons Park was a marvelous appeal to them and they started looking into buying a park home buy visiting Tingdene Visitor Centre.
Michael commented “ the centre and sales team were brilliant “ “ we were able to change the layout which was good”
Having worked within the construction industry he also enjoyed the factory tour on offer.
Having sold their 4 bedroom house allowed them to release some equity which was important. Another important aspect was to have a low maintenance home, however it has to be said that Michael enjoys doing things around the their new home, so maybe it won’t be as low maintenance as it is in reality !!
Now that Michael and Sally have settled into their now home, they are enjoying making new friends on the park and taking time out to spend with their family.
