Exclusive Residential Park in Suffolk – Whitearch Park
Whitearch Residential Park is an exclusive residential park near Saxmundham in Suffolk that boasts a superb natural landscape which is ticking plenty of boxes with residents. The park started its life as a caravan and camping site, with pitches around the established lake that is host to a variety of fish including Carp, Bream, Golden Orfe and Tench. With the lake covering over an acre, it is a haven for not only fisherman, but also an abundance of wildlife.
Malcolm and Michael’s vision was to create a Residential Park that would be set within the natural beauty of the park, and 2 years later, the Uplands area and Hornbeam Drive ( see plan) are more or less complete and looking great. They have clearly achieved their vision and it was great to have visited in the beginning and again now with the park flourishing. A great opportunity to see the “before” and “after”, albeit with more development work to follow. The natural landscape of the park is proving popular with residents …… and potential residents.
Roger and Theresa liked what they saw as soon as they visited the park. At the time the park had 2 show homes available, a Tingdene Barnwell and a Tingdene Hayden Classic, both of which they liked, however finally choosing the Barnwell. They have been on the park since December 2017 and have enjoyed seeing the park grow.
Sylvia and Richard loved the park as soon as they arrived, the overall setting was a major hit. They didn’t want anything regimental so the whole atmosphere of the park was just what they were looking for. As was the Hayden Classic show home with its spacious layout and vaulted ceilings.
Show Homes – There is normally a show home available to view and indeed to purchase, however they do tend to sell quickly. Luckily there are other plots available for your choice of home.

Roger and Theresa’s Story
Roger and Theresa were the 2nd couple to move onto the park in December 2017, so have enjoyed the many transformations that have taken place since then. They were living in a 4 bedroom detached property, however found that they were only using 1 bedroom and started to wonder if a smaller property, maybe something on one level, would make sense for the future. They started the search for a property and spotted the Barnwell for sale. Naturally the first thing to do was visit and find out more…… and it didn’t take long for a decision to be made.
They loved what they saw of the park and the Barnwell ticked many boxes with regards to layout, design and colour scheme. Having done a few sums, they quickly realised that the Barnwell was going to be a lot more economical to run than their 4 bedroom property. The move also provided them with equity release, which ticked another box.
Having lived on the park for a while now, they are pleased with their move, living amongst like-minded people and on a park with such lovely grounds, with the lakes and fishing to enjoy.
They have also appreciated the support from the park owners and commented “Malcolm and Michael have been very helpful and accommodating” “The Park is spacious, doesn’t feel crowded and is a nice environment in which to live” Their passion for the park has been a bit infectious as Theresa’s brother and also sister have both now moved onto the park !! Roger and Theresa have been married for 45 years and looking forward to a trip to Australia to see their son. When they are not away enjoying life, Roger enjoys gardening and going to the theatre with Theresa. At the same Theresa is kept busy with her involvement in a couple of ladies clubs.
Sylvia and Richard’s Story
The park home lifestyle is not new to Sylvia and Richard, they previously lived in a park home where they enjoyed 8 years on the park, however they reached a point where they felt that the location wasn’t quite right for them any longer and that it was time for a change. From the moment they arrived on Whitearch Park, they knew that this was the park for them.
The setting of the park, whereby the natural setting had been retained to enjoy, was what they wanted. The park was also in a good location to suit their needs. The show home they purchased is a Tingdene Hayden Classic which they have settled into very nicely and have been living on the park now since October 2018. One of their first tasks was to create their stunning garden, with raised beds freshly planted, set against gravel walkway, and a spacious patio from which to relax. Sylvia and Richard have also been married for 45 years this year and looking forward to many more years enjoying what the park and location has to offer.
