Explore Ladycross Plantation – Tranquil Yorkshire Holiday Park

The route to Ladycross Plantation Park took me through the North Yorkshire Moors, with some stunning countryside and views.  It would be difficult to beat such a lovely landscape, however, Ladycross is set on the edge of the moors and has a beauty of its own.

Ladycross Holiday Park was purchased around 10 years ago by Kieran and Lisa who have taken the time to develop the park to not only retain the woodland aspects but to also enhance the tranquil environment and to encourage natural wildlife.

Caravans and lodges are set in clusters using gravel and paths that complement the rustic atmosphere while also being fresh and clean. Bark pathways have been set leading into the woodland area to support the popular countryside walks.

Their high standards have earnt them the AA Gold 4 Pennant Award 2018, being one of only a few parks with a score of 91%.  What a great achievement and testament of their dedication and vision for the park.

The New lodge phase is developing nicely and has a superb Tingdene Havana as a show home, available to view, and currently for sale.

The Tingdene Havana Show Home offers:

  • Size 42’ x 20’
  • Two bedrooms, master with en-suite
  • Second twin bedroom
  • Separate bathroom
  • Spacious open plan lounge / diner / kitchen
  • Contemporary kitchen with integrated appliances
  • Utility room
  • Coordinating furniture and furnishings throughout
  • Decking to two side of the Havana
  • 10 year structural warranty on the lodge

Exploring the Park Location

The popular town of Whitby is just a few miles away, with its many famous attractions, one being its excellent fish and chips !!

Whitby offers attractions such as Harbour; Lighthouse; Museum; Abbey; Falling Foss Tea Garden and Waterfall; to mention just a few, with some superb sights and landmarks.

The Blue Flag beaches are popular, along with the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, and the Captain Cook Memorial Museum.  Alternatively browse around the shops and indulge in one of the many restaurants and cafes.

Along the coastline you can also enjoy the sandy beaches of Sandsend, or explore the beautiful walks along the cliffs of Runswick Bay.

South of Whitby, Robin Hood Bay is an attractive village to visit.  Moving in-land you will find ‘Heartbeat’ Country with beautiful villages and country walks.
