Leading Park Home Manufacturer, Tingdene, Opens New Factory Facility
Tingdene opened its doors to many of its customer base, suppliers, media and retired employees on the launch day for their new manufacturing plant in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. It marked the end of a 12-month build, with the new factory space allowing Tingdene to stay ahead of the game as a leading park home manufacturer.
With 18 months in the planning stage and a year of building works, the ribbon was cut by Sylvia Gibbard to mark the occasion.
Tingdene’s factory was built in the early 70’s by Jim Gibbard, founder of the business. Sadly Jim passed away a number of years ago so it was a great honour to have Sylvia involved with the occasion, having been there with Jim from the start of the business set up.
The investment has already seen advantages to the quality of the working environment, health and safety and welfare of its employees. As a result, this has provided greater efficiency, improved end product quality and the ability to increase capacity output, allowing Tingdene to be a leading park home manufacturer in the UK.
With nearly 50 years of park home manufacturing expertise and excellence, the new factory site has allowed Tingdene to continue to develop their amazing range of residential park homes and holiday lodges. The homes are built by a 200-strong workforce, using modern materials and precise care and attention, meaning that your park or holiday home, is built to an extremely high standard, affording you peace of mind.
We offer tours of the factory as well as having a permanent indoor park home and holiday lodge exhibition at the Tingdene Visitor and Design Centre. To view the homes and lodges on offer, pop down to the centre or contact the team to arrange a meeting.
