Tingdene Homes is pleased to announce that Craig Sansom has joined the Sales team in the role of Senior Business Development Manager. With continued growth and an emphasis on development and innovation, Tingdene has many exciting special projects in the pipeline for the coming months. Craig will be working closely with Sales & Marketing Director, Nick Burgess, as well as the production, design and marketing teams, to launch these never-before-seen models into the market.
Craig was the obvious choice for the role, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the park and holiday home sector, as well as being involved in sales and product development. Having previously spent 14 years with the company, Craig joined Tingdene Homes in 1997 as a Junior Buyer and rose through the ranks to Buyer, Senior Buyer and Purchasing Manager. From there he became involved with product development allowing him to see the many facets of the business, as well as help to improve the quality and finish of the products.
Looking for a new challenge, Craig went onto a Regional Sales Manager role at Quinn / Barlo Radiators and AKW which allowed him to continue to work closely with Tingdene. He was able to provide a variety of new products from standard panel to deluxe design radiators and assisted living products, to the buying and manufacturing departments.
His return to Tingdene Homes was prompted by a desire ‘to come home’ reflecting the great team spirit of the company. This was further emphasised by the fact that he had worked closely with Tingdene whilst in a sales role, and had seen how well the company was growing, including the new developments taking shape. The return has come at the perfect time, allowing Craig to ‘get his teeth stuck into’ a challenging role, in what will be a new and exciting market for Tingdene.
